BCI2000 Biosemi contrib

Post by Romain » 30 Jan 2009, 03:58

Hi everybody,

I am trying to use BCI2000 with a Biosemi ActiveTwo ACD system using Biosemi2 contrib. I want two use a setup with one computer dealing with BCI2000 on one side and another machine handling acquisition system on the othe side. I am not sure the Biosemi2 contribution offers this possibility as I don't see were we define the ACD server address in the module, and when I browsed the code i could not find anything looking like request to the Actiview server. Does anybody know if the contribution Biosemi2 can handle that, or if the Biosemi2 contribution works with the ActivView TCP client on the machine hosting BCI2000?

I tried another setup using BCI2000 with Biosemi2 contribution, Biosemi Actiview runing both on the same machine, on which is plugged the acquisition hardware. I got a nice crash in Actiview software with following error mesage:

Code: Select all

Error 5002 occured at ActiveTwo Synchronization.
Possible reasons(s):
Unsupported speedmode (check version of ActiVIEW)
or
Intermittent data loss (check optical fiber)
or
USB driver not properly closed on exit (restart LabVIEW and ActiVIEW)
I got last release of ActiVIEW.
I don't think it comes from the optical cable as the acquisition works fine in a standalone setup.

There is no error message in BCI2000 console, however i have this kind of warning:

Code: Select all

Warning: StimulusPresentationTask::Preflight: Due to a sample block duration of 234.375ms, the actual value of PreSequenceDuration for stimulus 1 will be 1875ms rather than 2000ms.
Has anyone experienced this kind of problems with the Biosemi2 contribution, and does anybody know where i can get some more information about how to configure BCI2000 Biosemi2 module along with ActiVIEW to make them work together?

Regards

Romain
