Recording protocol and Signal analysis for BCI

Post by sandeepb_amrita » 28 Feb 2014, 10:59

Hi, I am working for eeg signal recording and analysis, i want to record for eye opening and eye closing movements and extract the patterns of the same avoiding other artifacts based on time interval. i understand that the recording should go on with external cues and depending on the cue timing , have to extract the specific features of the movement. But how are these features or patterns can be extracted? Do fast fourier coefficeints are one of the featuers? if so other than fft what could be the other methods? Do fft coefficeints alone are enough for bci related tasks?

Any help and suggestions in my work would be appreciated

Thankyou
sandeep
