Hi,
I am trying to run the BCI2000 mu-rhythm offline analysis tool on datasets that have been recorded using the Emotiv Neuroheadset and OpenVibe Acquisition Server.
The data is available in .gdf format. However, the offline analysis tool allows to add only files in BCI2000 .dat format.
How can I convert the file in .gdf format to .dat format?
Thanks

Re: Convert EEG from gdf to BCI2000 dat format for analysis
Getting your data into the the right format for use by the mu-rhythm analysis tool can be done with MATLAB. First you should load it into MATLAB using the BIOSIG toolbox. Then, restructure your data and states with custom MATLAB code. Finally, use BCI2000\tools\mex\save_bcidat.m to save the data in BCI2000.dat format.
However, since this method requires MATLAB and the BIOSIG toolbox anyway, I think you might be better off simply installing the EEGLAB toolbox for MATLAB http://sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/ and using that (or one of its many plugins) for your analysis. EEGLAB uses the BIOSIG toolbox and can import GDF files natively. Also, check out BCILAB http://sccn.ucsd.edu/wiki/BCILAB. I've never used it myself but it looks interesting.
If you can give more information about what you hope to achieve with your analysis then I might be able to provide you with more specific instructions.
