Setting up ANT Amplifier

Post by amishra » 27 Oct 2012, 03:45

Hello All

I am trying to interface my 64 channel ANT Amplifier with BCI2000. But I am getting following error after following the basic steps of modifying Batch Files.

" impedance checking sampling rate should be 8Hz, yours is 256Hz "

BATCH FILE

cd ..\prog
start operator.exe ^
--Title %~n0 ^
--OnConnect "-LOAD PARAMETERFILE ..\parms\examples\CursorTask_SignalGenerator.prm"
start TMSi.exe "--TMSiCheckImpedance=1" 127.0.0.1
start DummySignalProcessing.exe 127.0.0.1
start DummyApplication.exe 127.0.0.1
cd ..

PARAMETER SETTING VALUES

Source Channel: 8
Sample Block Size: 8
Sampling Rate: 256
SourceChGain: 0.008 (8 times)
SourceChoffset: 0 (8 times)
ChannelNames: F3 F4 T7 C3 Cz C4 T8 Pz

I also tried running it in normal mode but I am not getting any data. Please help.

Hi Ruud from ANT again, I have not tested BCI2000 myself but I can set it up here, just to get the experience. For now I would suggest to try the same as Gerwin already suggested in the Linkedin discussion: measure impedance values at 8 Hz. Note that this amplifier is manufactured by TMSi (check the bottom of the amplifier), so if you are searching for more information in this forum you might try to perform a search on TMSi.

Thanks for the report. I will make sure that the amplifier is automatically switched to 8Hz in impedance mode.
