Synamps2/rt configuration

Post by mauromarchetti » 09 Jul 2013, 12:04

Hi, I have a Synamps2 RT system, with Curry 7 software and we need to implement a brain-computer interface system using BCI2000 with that amplifier. Looking to the information we have found online, we need the Neuroscan Access SDK (http_nospam_www.neuroscan.com/documents/AF273_02%20Neuroscan%20News%20Dec%202010.pdf , at the bottom of page 1; or http://www.bci2000.org/wiki/index.php/C ... nAccessSDK). Do someone succeed in creating a system with Synamps/Curry 7? I think the standard version of BCI2000 seems to support only previous Curry/Acquire software, or a "Server" I can't find in this newer version...

Thanks!

Hi, I have no possibility to test the NeuroscanAccess source module, but in case you get an error referring to a "server", you might have been running the NeuroscanClient source module, rather than the NeuroscanAccess source module. The NeuroscanClient allows connection to a Neuroscan Acquire server via TCP/IP, whereas the NeuroscanAccess source module interfaces to amplifiers more or less "directly".

Juergen
