Hello,
We're trying to accomplish a good working 1D BCI. let's say: Just the basics. We've been working on it for some time now, but never really understood how some of the parameters interact. Can anyone explain some things about this?
The parameters are (As I think):
From the "Statistics" tab:
XMean
XGain
SignalWinLth
OutcomeDirection (?)
XMeanProportion
XPixelsPerSec
BaselineCfg (?)
BaselineHits (?)
XTrendControl
TargetWinLth (?)
TrendControlRate (?)
WeightControl
WeightUse
WtLrnRt
And from the "Filtering" tab:
MLR
SpatialFilterKernal
Parameters marked with a "?" I don't
Thanks a lot beforehand!
greetings,
Wout Kenbeek

Hi,
Sorry for the late answer. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete tutorial for the Statistics parameters yet. However, there is quite some information in the BCI2000 User Manual and in the BCI2000 Workshop tutorial on this topic. You should be able to get simple 1D experiments running with this information.
The parameters that you marked with a question mark are set properly in the parameter files that come with BCI2000, and only need to be changed for advanced experiments.
I hope this helps,
The Gerv
