How to use the Stimulus Presentation Module

Post by tkcalibo » 04 Sep 2012, 15:13

Hi,

I would like to create my own basic stroop task in bci2000 and sync it with my emotiv headset. I was under the impression that I could use the stimulus presentation module to do this, however, I am unsure how to access it/program it. The BCI2000 wiki is a little confusing in the way that it presents examples of how to use this module. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I would begin by using the StimulusPresentation_SignalGenerator batch and parameter files. This will give you a basic setup that presents auditory/visual stimuli. Then, check the BCI2000 documentation on the StimulusPresentation parameters, which will tell you how all the parameters that show up in the Application tab control presentation of the stimuli. With this, implementation of the Stroop task is straightforward.
