P300 Classifier- incorporating all channels

Post by gcothrel » 23 Jul 2012, 18:32

Hello,

My team is using both BioSemi and the Emotiv with the P3Speller. We run "THE QUICK BROWN FOX" sessions and load that data into the P300 Classifier. On the parameters pane, we list all channels of each EEG (1-14 emotiv; 1-16 biosemi). However, the matrices created only focus on some of the channels, usually around 1-10, but sometimes 1-8 or 1-11. It seems as though it could pull any number of channels.

My question is: if the matrix created by the P300 Classifier only involves 8 channels, let's say, then are only those 8 channels used when running the P3Speller? If so, how can we make it so that all channels, or at least the important ones, are used?

Thanks!

The P300Classifier determines all important channels. This is why it does not use all channels.
