Stimulus Presentation - Sequence to be copied

Post by UCTEEGLab » 19 Jul 2011, 04:48

Hi

I would like to run the Stimulus Presentation Task in Copy Mode, but asking the user to focus on a different stimulus each time. I thought this could be done using the ToBeCopied parameter, but when I change this it only seems to change the number of sequences and the user is always told to focus on 1.
If I specify 1 2 3 in the ToBeCopied parameter and define 1 as the NumberOfSequences, the user is instructed 3 times to focus on 1.
If I specify 1 1 1 the result is exactly the same.
If I change to 1 2 3 4, the user is still always instructed to focus on 1, but now 4 times.

I would appreciate some help in figuring out how to change the experiment so that a different stimulus should be focused on in each sequence.

Thanks

Leandra

Hi,

the described behavior does not occur when I try the StimulusPresentation task. Rather, it asks to concentrate on a different stimulus each time, as desired.
Did you modify the StimulusPresentation source code at some point? Please note that an "SVN update" does not undo local changes, but rather merges your own local version with the version on the server.

If this is not the cause of your problem, could you send me a parameter file that elicits the erroneous behavior?

Thank you,
Juergen

Thanks for sorting this out with me via email.
With the updated source code everything is working fine.
