Multiple Channels (EEG & Galvanic Skin Response)

Post by ikara » 14 Jun 2011, 07:34

Hi
I'm currently using the P300 Speller and the Stimulus presentation from the BCI2000 platform.
My equipment is g.USBamp with active electrodes for EEG Signal acquisition
and g.GSRsensor (which connects to g.USBamp) for Galvanic Skin Response signal acquisition.

My question is if it's possible to record through BCI2000 all the channels, but somehow define
which are the EEG channels and which the GSR, so that only the EEG channels are checked for
a P300 response, while at the same time having the GSR Signal recorded with BCI2000 state variables (stimulus begin, etc.)

Is it possible?

I'm definitely not an expert, but I think you should be able to do it.
You just need to set the Transmission Filter in order to transmit only the channels that you are interested in processing online. In the SOURCE menu, scroll down to the bottom and you will find TransmitChList.
The GSR channels will be saved in the .dat file anyway, as long as in the Signal Properties SourceCh you include all the channels you want to record.

I hope this helps.
