how to configure the MI cue interface

Post by jane1985 » 14 Mar 2011, 07:56

I use the Mu Rhythm BCI Tutorial.
I want to add a cue like cross to indicate the imagery movement before each " left hand" and "right hand" task. the cross duration time is 1s. and the duration time of hand movement task is 3s. the cue interface of one trail can be like this: firstly, blank, then appears a cross to make the subject perpare for the following task, then appears corresponding task , then blank.
My question is how to make the cross appear before each task and how to set the cross duration time?
Thanks for your attention.

Add a cross image to the Stimuli matrix parameter. Its stimulus code is identical to the number of the column that defines the stimulus. Also, add a row to the Stimuli matrix, with row title "StimulusDuration". There, set the desired durations of all stimuli. Then, set the SequenceType parameter to "deterministic", and enter the desired sequence of stimulus codes into the Sequence parameter, including the stimulus code of the cross image. Set the NumberOfSequences parameter to 1, such that your sequence is only displayed once.
