Micromed

Post by paolobernardis » 07 Oct 2010, 04:50

Hi Erik,
thanks for your answer, unfortunately I still have problems :(

1. “With "SourceSignal displays the selected channels" do you mean that you actually see an EEG signal? That would be strange”.

No, I don’t see the EEG signal. I see only the selected channels, but with the signal line flat.

2. In the SystemLog window first appears:
“Operator set configuration;
Warning: MicromedADC::Initialize: Micromed BCI Server listening on port 5000.

and after a while appears:

“MicromedADC::Initialize: Connection failed”

MicromedADC::Initialize::SignalSource: Application dropped connection unexpectedly”

Thanks in advance.

Ok, so that is cleared.

Paolo,

From the code I see that the server (BCI2000) is running properly, but it never receives packets from the client (micromed).
It seems that your TCP/IP connection is not working properly. Did you switch off the firewalls of both computers? It is best to have a dedicated local network, connected with manual IP addresses (eg. 192.168.0.1), so there is no interference of general internet traffic.
You did use *.5000?

Maybe you could test the TCP/IP connection with some test protocols (eg share your files).

Wait: just an idea: you did hit the record button on the micromed computer, did you?

Let me know how far you come.

Regards,

Erik

Micromed

Hi Erik,
thanks for your answer, I still have problems with Micromed coonfiguration. I did everything you suggested me

In the SystemLog window first appears (in sequence):

“Warning:MicromedADC::Initialize:Micromed BCI Server listening on port 5000.
Then:
“Signal Processing confirmed new parameters…”
End then:
“User Application confirmed new parameters….
then displays the dialog StimulusPresentation but is white (I want to run the initial session of Mu Rhythm), then are open the Timing and SourceSignal windows.
And finally in the SystemLog window appears:
“MicromedADC::Initialize:Connection failed”.
I checked several times all the parameters I don’t know what else I can do.
Thanks for your help :shock: :shock:

Paolo,

Do you use SystemPlus 1.02.1091 or higher?
Are tcpSendAcq, tcpServerName and tcpPortNumber in the registry of the current user? tcpServerName is the address of the BCI2000 computer?
If you don't use BCI2000, does the Micromed computer stall for a while or does it show a "TCP/IP connection failed" message in the upper left corner?
Does the packetrate match the headbox (try 32 and 64)?

I still presume it is something with the TCP/IP connection,

Let me know,

Erik
