BCI2000 v3.0 Progress?

Post by mtmccann » 10 Sep 2009, 19:10

My lab is really looking forward to the compiler independence that will be offered in BCI2000 v3.0. Could I have a general estimate of when this version will be released? I realize it's quite hard to name a day, but any kind of general idea would be useful for us.

Thanks.

V3.0

Hi,

V3.0 is actually wrapping up nicely. It supports Borland Builder 6.0, 2007, 2009, as well as VisualStudio and MinGW. It is built using QT. All core Source, Signal Processing, and Application modules compile and have received a fair amount of testing. Operator V3.0 works in a VCL version (Borland-specific); we are currently finishing a QT-based version, which should be ready in a few weeks. What's missing then is to convert a few missing tools, finalize testing and documentation, and we are done. V3.0 also supports multi-threading for some signal processing filters.

In sum, I expect that we will be releasing V3.0 within the next couple of months. In either case, you can access it right now from SVN. Just use /branches/V3.0 :-)
