Configuration with an Brainvision System

Hello,
i'm wanted to test if the BCI2000 System can read our BrainVision RDA packets. Is there a way to only start the the source module and run the channel visualizer without the need of a application or signalprocessing module / configuration?
I managed to get a configuration file for the RDACLIENT using this tool. It seems correct. But i have no idea how to construct fitting signalprocessing / application modules. And i want to test the RDAClient before i get into this stuff.

You may use any signal processing and application module if you just want to test whether signal acquisition works.
E.g., run the Stimulus Presentation configuration with the RDAClient source module, load the parms/examples/StimulusPresentation.prm parameter file, and click SetConfig. When the source module works, the operator module will display the source signal immediately after you press SetConfig, with the signal processing and application modules still inactive.

By the way if i quit operate.exe RDAClient.exe keeps running and i have to kill it by myself.

So you don't get the source signal display at all?
Have you tried without RecView connected to the server process?

I'm not at work right now so i cant try the stimulus presantation setup but i got a working source display after executing the stuff in your tour.

Try setting Source->SampleBlockSize to 40 and Visualize->VisualizeSourceDecimation to 5.

Hi,
I am having some problems with the configuration of the BrainVision System and BCI2000.
So I am trying to use the RDAClient as Signal Source. With 8 or 32 channels I do not have any problems, if i press set config then I can see the raw signals and the selected Application of interest runs without any problem. However, with 64 channels the system seems to crash.
Based on the previous post I have also tried to set the >SampleBlockSize to 40 and >VisualizeSourceDecimation to 5. However this does not change anything.
Do you have any ideas on this problem?

Hi,
the RDAgetparams tool automatically creates a unit spatial filter matrix for you. With 64 channels, this is quite a large matrix, and results in considerable CPU load.
Set the Filtering->SpatialFilterType parameter to "none" in order to disable spatial filtering, and make sure to use a release build of the signal processing module (e.g., from the latest binary BCI2000 distribution).
