hi, Dr. Schalk:

1. We are using 7 out of 16 channels. We have set the transimtchannel vaue to 16 and list all the 16 channels
we are not sure what to set the value of the spatial filtering channels and the matrix to. We set spatial filtering to 16, then used a 16x16 matrix with the diagonal values set to 1. Is that right?
The MUD matrix is also causing a lot of confusion.
2. For a Mu rhythm related experiment, if we use more channels, does that mean that we will get better results or will 4 channels be sufficient.
3. Is there a default parameter configuration file which is downloadable for some experiment, such as RJB, D2box, etc? We are just very confused about the parameter configuration process.We have followed the document (BCI2000 setup for Mu Rhythm), but it does not seem to be working correctly.

You are correct. The documentation for the parameter configuration could be better. In fact, we are working on this right now and expect to have very good and complete tutorials in 4-5 months.

In the mean time, many of your questions can be answered using the BCI2000 Workshop Tutorial, which has a section on mu rhythm configuration. Please check this out first and then post remaining questions on the board. Thanks.
