Connection Issues
Posted: 04 Feb 2016, 23:07
Hi,
I'm excited to start learning what BCI2000 can do. I'm on a 64 bit windows 7 machine with a g.USBamp which according to the system log has a 3.2 driver and is currently functioning correctly with MATlab/simulink. However, when I'm trying to start an app in BCI2000 for instance gUSBampSource/P3SignalProcessing/P3Speller after I Choose SetConfig I receive a series of connection error statements as shown below:
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - Application: Could not make a connection to the SignalSource module.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - SignalSource: Could not make a connection to the SignalProcessing module.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - SignalProcessing: Could not make a connection to the Application module.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - DataIOFilter::Preflight: gUSBampADC::Preflight: g.USBamp driver version = 3.2.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - DataIOFilter::Preflight: gUSBampADC::Preflight: Detected gUSBamp with DeviceID UB-2014.04.24.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - SignalSource: Could not send output properties to SignalProcessing module.
2016-02-03T21:20:04 - DataIOFilter::Initialize: gUSBampADC::Initialize: Detected gUSBamp with DeviceID UB-2014.04.24.
2016-02-03T21:20:06 - SignalSource: Application dropped connection unexpectedly.
Any thoughts to what might be going wrong? It seems my correct .dll driver is in the 64syswow folder and that the driver in the bci2000/prog file is not present. Earlier posts suggested a MicrosoftTV/Network Video something or other which doesn't appear to be a thing anymore. Not sure what next.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
In addition, today I allowed the gUSBampSource/P3SignalProcessing/P3Speller and BCI2000 launcher executables through the Windows Firewall and the very similar but slightly different error was reported in the System Log:

If I'm posting in the wrong place, or if there's a lack of information important to understand this issue, please let me know how I can better communicate, or perhaps if this just seems too obvious maybe someone could help point me in a direction to the resources. I'm searching around so far unsuccessfully.
Thank you
