Problem with audio presentation

Hello,

We are running an auditory repetition task where the subjects listen to syllables through headphones and repeat them back. Syllables are presented three at a time. The problem is that sometimes we hear a ‘pop’ sound between the syllables. The recordings of the syllables do not have this sound. Could you please help us identify where the problem may come from?
