Mu rhythm training

Post by Yueqing Li » 20 Nov 2009, 11:46

Hello:

I am using Mu rhythm and follow exactly the tutorial, but found it not easy to train the users to imagine the movement. I want to know how much training is needed generally? Thanks a lot.

Yueqing,

You should see some success (>70% correct) in most people starting from the first session, in particular if you use actual and not imagined movements. If you do not see that kind of success, and/or offline analyses do not show responses that are somewhat similar to what we show in the tutorial, you are doing something incorrectly.

On the other hand, good success (>90% correct) may require several training sessions. Also, not everybody may achieve this level of success.
