BCI v3 Question Regarding P300 Class. GUI

Post by jwlbci » 29 Sep 2009, 17:04

I have a question regarding the P300classifier.exe GUI. My current version of BCI2000 is about a year old, but I do have the p300 classifier GUI from v3. Whenever I try to generate feature weights with it, all fields are green, but I keep receiving errors. I'm using Windows 7 now. Do I need to put it in a specific directory or download BCI v3, or might it be something with the files? I could provide samples to see if anyone cares to attempt to replicate the error.

P300 Classifier

Hi,

What do you mean by "receiving errors?" Is the P300 Classifier crashing? Is it not even starting?

Specific Error

Post by jwlbci » 09 Oct 2009, 15:07

I was trying to access the older P300 GUI through MATLAB when I get this error on two separate XP machines:

??? In an assignment A(I) = B, the number of elements in B and
I must be the same.

Error in ==> getInfo at 133
parms.NumMatrixRows(kk)=(prm.NumMatrixRows.NumericValue);

Error in ==> P300_GUI>runbutton_Callback at 324
[signal,state,parms]=getInfo(handles.traindatfiles,handles.traindatdir,[]);

Error in ==> gui_mainfcn at 96
feval(varargin{:});

Error in ==> P300_GUI at 41
gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});

??? Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

P300GUI

Post by gschalk » 09 Oct 2009, 15:29

Hi,

Are you using the most recent version of the P300GUI? An older version had a bug that produced a similar error when analyzing runs that were suspended by the user.

In any case, we won't further support the P300GUI as it will be replaced by the P300 Classifier. While not yet released, it provides similar functionality to the P300GUI. Please download the most recent version of the P300 Classifier. If you still experience issues, please check out the documentation on the wiki:

http://www.bci2000.org/wiki/index.php/U ... classifier

If this does not help, please contact Cristhian Potes <cmpotes@gmail.com>, the author of the P300 Classifier. He will be glad to assist you to make sure the P300 Classifier works with your data.
