No mouse control in SignalGenerator

Post by ageronimo » 06 Jan 2021, 13:50

Happy new year BCI2000 team.

Ive installed the Rev.6143 binaries on my windows 10 x64 machine and am having difficulty with the SignalGenerator source module. I cannot get the signal to modulate amplitude with x-movement of the mouse cursor.

I also have Rev.6125 built from source on my machine and I am able to use the mouse to modulate the amplitude of the signal as expected.

In both iterations, i have run StimulusPresentation_SignalGenerator.bat, checked the box for mouse control in the source tab, and set the sine frequency to 10 and amplitude to 100muV.

Thanks for your help,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

sorry for the late reply. Happy new year, as far as it still applies.

There was no significant change to the source code of SignalGeneratorADC between r6125 and r6143. The only change was an update to the copyright in the header of the file. Did you accidentally specify a non-empty mixing matrix?

I can have a closer look if you send me a data file where the error happens.

Juergen

Hi Juergen,
Upon second look, it seems i am not able to get a sine wave at all and the mouse control is just secondary to that. Some files are attached which the settings should produce a sine wave (i think) but none appears in the signal. Again, all this works fine in the compiled version.

Alex Belsten just submitted a bug fix. The bug was actually present since r6105.

Thank you for the bug report.

Juergen
