I'm trying to use BCI with the g-tec mobilab+. According to Windows, the incoming bluetooth port is COM22. I set BCI to that, and I get the following error-
1/11/2011 6:45:41 PM - gMOBIlabPlusADC::Initialize: Could not open device: Open communication port failed.
The default for the BCI is COM3. I set it to that, and the following happens-
1/11/2011 6:45:51 PM - gMOBIlabPlusADC::Initialize: Could not open device: Could not read device version.
Any ideas why the above would happen? I set BCI to the outgoing comport channel too just to check, got the same first error. What should I be setting the port to in order for it to work?
opening com port with mobilab+
COM port
I seem to recall that for some reason, the MOBIlab does not work if it is set to a COM port larger than 16 (or so).
First, set it to the first COM port that is free using Windows' Device Manager (e.g., COM5). Then, set BCI2000 to the same COM port. This should work.
