BCI2000 can not see the g.USBamp

Post by fatihbaha » 30 Dec 2020, 21:31

Dear all,

I have recently started working with EEG and I was using g.tec usbAMP and BCI2000. The laptop that came from g.tec at the time had everything installed and had windows 7 on it.

We recently updated that laptop to windows 10 and now BCI2000 seems to not recognize usbAMP. I am having this exact same issue that is posted before but none of the solutions have worked for me. I tried and updated all the drivers and everything but can't get this issue resolved.

Hi,

it could be that you have a 32-bit executable and installed 64-bit drivers in the Windows 10 system, whereas in the Windows 7 system you had installed 32-bit drivers.

You might try downloading BCI2000 from here: https://www.bci2000.org/mediawiki/index ... ersion_3.6
and see whether it works with your drivers.

Juergen

Thank you very much for your reply and actually latest update solved this issue but now I am facing a new issue. BCI2000 recognizes the usbamp yet the moment I click set config it gives an error saying "Lost connection to Signalsource". Kind of similar to the issue talked about under this discussion but I am not trying to create any module viewtopic.php?t=3405

It appears that either somehow you are mixing executables from different distributions, or that your distribution is broken.

Have you tried compiling from source?
