There is no figures on my rebuild BCI2000

Post by Jianjunmeng » 08 May 2014, 19:12

Dear,

I have rebuild BCI2000 on my computer (64bit win7) by Visual studio 2012, however, when I check the CursorTask_SignalGenerator.bat, everything works. But there is nothing on the screen after the 'timeout' image disappeared, no target bar and no ball on the screen. However, the system log file still prompts hit or miss information. Is there anything wrong with my rebuild? I know the recommended version of Visual studio is 2008 or 2010, however there is only 2012 available in our University. Thank you very much for your help!

Best,

I've had similar problems in the past. I fixed it by recompiling the CursorTask using the static Qt that comes with BCI2000 instead of using dynamic qt (5.x). In your case, I don't think BCI2000 provides any static Qt libraries for VS2012. I'd recommend downloading qt 4.8.6 and building a static library on your own and using that. I've never done that myself but I think there should be a lot of guides on the web on how to build static Qt for VS2012.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Right now I just simply reuse the application module of cursor task which is accessible from the current BCI2000 executable. I will try your suggestions if I have any time. Anyway, Thank you very much for your help!
