Mu Tutorial Issues

Post by jwlbci » 13 Aug 2009, 18:45

Hello, trying to run the mu tutorial. We have performed the calibration sessions multiple times. Our r squared values are lower than we expected, with the maximum being .06 for one subject, and .2 out of all subjects. However, features are where we expected them to be.

We have decided to move onto the feedback tutorial after offline analysis. According to the wiki, the protocol would consist of a cursor moving across the screen, and the subject would try to have it make contact with a target. However, the protocol we saw had an orange ball as the cursor, and two gray boxes (one would appear on left, one on right). The cursor would cross the screen at random speeds, and never went either left or right. Is this supposed to be the correct tutorial, or should we edit this? Not one of our trials worked. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. The instruction to load a feedback-specific parameter file got lost in one of the recent modifications to the mu-rhythm tutorial. We are currently working on the tutorials to fix this kind of issue.

Juergen

John,

Could you please try the tutorial again? The issues should be fixed.
