starting BCI2000
hi grev,
i have just installed bci2000 on my machine and i need to know that how to get started... i have read the getting started page but i could not find that how can i use it offline... are there any stored signals available using which i can see that how it works from signal extraction to signal filtering ... till command signal generation
regards

offline ...
Gagan,
BCI2000 is very much focused on real-time operation. While some components can be used offline (look for command-line tools in the wiki), it is a real-time system and not yet another offline toolbox.

I think I encountered the same problem when the first time I used bci2000.
There exists a signalGenerator in bci2000 that you can use to generate a test signal suited for BCI purposes. The test signal is a sine wave overlayed with white noise and a DC component.
And now I am trying to read signals from any eeg signal files as the source.

Gerv,
can i also analyze eeg signals using matlab?

Matlab
Gagan,
You do not specify whether you mean using Matlab online or offline. Offline, you can definitely use Matlab to analyze BCI data. In fact, this is what most people do. You could use a toolbox such as EEGlab or write your own routines. For real-time processing, you can use the MatlabFilter or FieldtripFilter within BCI2000 to run Matlab analyses. Please see the documentation for more info on these two filters.

EEGlab ...
Gagan,
We are not intimately familiar with EEGlab and thus cannot be very helpful on this question. You may want to consult the extensive EEGlab tutorial/documentation, or may want to post this question on the EEGlab mailing list.
