Environtment for Measuring Brainwave

Post by reza » 03 Jul 2008, 04:15

dear Gary,

I want to ask about environment for measuring brainwave with EEG, since I am a new bee in this field. From your experiences, is there any conditional environment should be met to get better data? Would you please to explain it to me? Please advice. Thank you.

Note: I have a plan to trial P300 speller from BCI2000.

Reza,

With environment, do you mean software or hardware? Please clarify. Thanks.

Reza,

Ideally, you want to do EEG experiments in shielded rooms that do not have equipments that use a lot of power. Incandescent lights are also pretty bad.

I suggest consulting with somebody with EEG recording experience.
