Problems with connecting gUSBamp and BCI2000

Post by steffenzander » 07 Jan 2015, 05:00

Hi all,

I have a Laptop with Windows 7 64bit, gUSBamp ver3.0 and the driver is also ver 3.0. After starting BCI2000 (Administrator mode and user and latest version of BCI2000) i try to connect using gUSBamp. After clicking on "launch" a new window opens and say: "waiting for configuration". Thats all. I also tried the solution obn the wiki with ver 3.0 to remove the dll, the same problem. If i use the signal generator instead of the gUSBamp it works. I tried to start the gRecorder and the amplifier works, so its connected correctly.
If i start the gUSBampsource.exe manually there comes a failure: "The application was unabtle to start correctly (0x0000007b). Click Ok to close the application."
Does anybody have the same problems with gUSBamp and BCI2000?

Thanks!

Steffen

Did you build from source or download the pre-compiled binaries?
Are your gUSBAmpSource binaries 32-bit or 64-bit?
Do you have the 32-bit or 64-bit g.USB driver installed?

It's a bit of a pain to get the 64-bit BCI2000 binaries working. The pre-compiled ones are all 32-bit. The 32-bit binaries require the 32-bit driver. The 32-bit driver installation fails on Windows 64-bit. Though it fails, it still puts the dll somewhere (sorry I can't remember where), and simply copying and pasting that dll into the same directory as your 32-bit gUSBAmpSource.exe file will usually do the trick.

Hi,
everything is 64bit except the BCI2000....i used the precompiled version. I also tried to cvompile the sources but there where too many failures.....must be some problems with my visual studio and with minGW i also had problems. Thanks, i will try to install the 32-bit driver and try to find the dll. ;)
Have a nice day!
