Handedness and age of EEG Motor Movement/Imagery subjects?

Post by SLeemburg » 25 May 2016, 08:00

Hello,

We are planning to use the Physionet EEG Motor Movement/Imagery Dataset to develop some analysis methods in healthy subject that we would then compare to neurological patients.
Is there some more information about the subjects in the physionet dataset available? I am mostly looking for information regarding handedness, as well as sex and age. I searched the BCI2000 site as well as physionet, but don't seem to be able to find this information...

Best,
Susan

Hi pbrunner,

I was wondering about the same thing as SLeemburg. We are doing a brain analysis using the Physionet EEG Motor Movement/Imaginary Dataset to study the non-linearity relationships between the EEG electrodes across all the 109 subjects. I would really appreciate it if you could email me the listed details as well.

1). Handedness
2). Age
3). Gender

And if there is any additional information about the subjects I would love to also use that in my study. Thank you.

Best,
Kaushik

pbrunner,

I would really appreciate it if you could email me the same information.
I'm studying the relationship between handedness and EEG motor signals.

Thank you.

Hello pbrunner,
I'll be grateful if you email me the same information about the subjects in the EEG Motor Movement/Imagery Dataset (handedness, age and gender)

Hi pbrunner,

I would really appreciate if you could send me the same information and if there is any additional data about the time between each task. I need this information in order to validate my thesis.

Best, Diana

Dear pbrunner,

I would be very grateful if you could send me the information on gender, age and handedness as well.
Did the study have any inclusion or exclusion criteria like neuropsychiatric disorders or centrally acting drug intake?
Furthermore, I wanted to ask whether the dataset was recorded in the US, so that the line noise would to be expect at 60Hz?

Thank you and kind regards!
