BCI 2000 & Windows Compatibility

Post by acampione » 30 Nov 2013, 11:59

I have to work with BCI 2000 for my degree thesis but I am experiencing many problems which are preventing me to proceed.

For example: after recording a .dat file, when I open it with BCI2000 Viewer and try to check TargetCode, ResultCode or Feedback checkboxes, the program crashes (BCI2000Viewer.exe has stopped working).

The strange thing is that with the very same .dat files, sometimes I can check the checkboxes without having the BCI2000Viewer.exe crash.

The exact same thing happens both with Windows 7 and Windows 8 (64 bit).

So the question is: how can I solve this problems? Are there compatibility issues with Windows?

Please help.

Hi,

if you are new to BCI2000, you should use the latest binary distribution (or the corresponding source code version) as described on the Wiki.

Thank you for reporting the Viewer problem. This problem should be fixed now.

Regards,
Juergen
