problem regarding running the p3speller application

Post by janki » 30 Jan 2004, 14:02

Hi,
I downloaded the latest version of BCI2000 as of January 28, 2004. After compilation of the p3speller code, the application crashes each time it is run. The application doesnot throw any exception and crashes on pressing the start button on the operator.
What could be the possible reasons for this kind of behaviour.

Thanks,
Janki.

P3Speller issues ...

Post by gschalk » 02 Feb 2004, 09:44

Hi Jonki,

What parameter file are you using? The application gets upset if, for example, it does not find the target definition file. Try install BCI2000 using bci2000setup.exe. When you then use this and load the parameter file that comes with it (in the parms directory), it should definitely work. You could then use the same parameter file, adjust the directories for data storage and target definition file. This should work. Let me know what happened!

the problem still exists, when compiled from the code

Hi,
The p3speller's batch file accompanied bci2000setup.exe works fine, but the problem persists when the code is downloaded and then compiled. I am compiling all the required programs and also taking care of the storage and other p3speller application parameters as you suggested before.
The batch files with the setup program are fine, but they seem to be giving problem when compiled from the code and ran.

Thanks,
Janki.

Hi Janki,

There was an issue in the P3Speller that has been fixed. Please download the most recent version and try again. It should work now
