Re: New Source module problem

Hi, if Windows CreateFile() or similar fails with Access Denied, you might not have closed the device properly, or its driver might be buggy. Try again after removing and reconnecting the device, or restarting the machine if nothing else helps. Typically, you open a device during AutoConfig() or Ini...

Re: Unknown CMake command "QT4_WRAP_CPP".

Hi, sorry for not replying earlier. The BCI2000 trunk is currently broken and will remain so until the next binary release comes out, which is scheduled for the first quarter of this year. If you experience build problems, please check out the source code version corresponding to the most recent bin...

Re: The applog file is not save in the correct directory

Hi, typically the application log file is supposed to be in the same directory as the data file. However, there is a conceptual problem inherent in the definition of the application log file's location, because 1) data files are written by the source module, 2) the application module might run on a ...

Re: run bci2000 with g.HIamp amplifier

@Juergen, should we provide a 64 bit binary package? I've been getting a pretty steady stream of emails with people having driver issues related to 32 bit/64 bit operating system/source module combinations. Yes, that's planned from the 3.06 release onwards. Previously, being tied to the presence of...

Re: what is wrong with the software.and the .bat cannot run.

Hi, we don't have resources to do regular tests in non-western language environments. Quite probably, the problem will be solved when you make sure that there are only Latin (Western) characters present in the path where BCI2000 has been installed. In case this does not help, you might need to set u...

Re: BCI 2000 & Windows Compatibility

Hi,

if you are new to BCI2000, you should use the latest binary distribution (or the corresponding source code version) as described on the Wiki.

Thank you for reporting the Viewer problem. This problem should be fixed now.

Re: " DataIOFilter Modification"

Hi, to obtain data in microvolts when loading into Matlab, use the '-calibrated' option to load_bcidat, as described in the load_bcidat help. To enable the source filter, don't use the context menu of the source visualization window. Instead, use the SourceFilter parameters in the Operator configura...

Re: TMSi 64 bit + BCI2000

Hi, we don't have any information about the current TMSi SDK. In case they just renamed the DLL, it would be quite easy to make the existing source module work, but that's rather unlikely. In response to your post, I've asked TMSi for information about their current driver library. If I get a respon...

Re: p300 using emotiv

Hi,

make sure you have a file Emotiv.exe in your prog folder. Note that the BCI2000 standard distribution does not contain the Emotiv source module, you will need to download the "contrib" distribution of BCI2000.

Re: FocusOn announcement before each stimuli

Hi, I'm not sure whether I understand what you are trying to do. The purpose of a "FocusOn" announcement is to instruct the subject before presentation begins. Then, during presentation, all stimuli are treated equally, because otherwise information about the desired stimulus would be physically pre...

Re: Amplifier

Hi, after getting feedback from EGI, last week I checked in a bug fix to the AmpServerPro source module. Lacking access to an EGI amplifier myself, I was not able to confirm that it works now, but you should give it a try by updating your source code to the latest SVN version. Otherwise, to avoid in...

Re: " DataIOFilter Modification"

Hi, as this is a problem specific to the TMSI amplifier, I think the appropriate place to implement your change will be the TMSI source module rather than the DataIOFilter. Actual writing to data files is done by separate components, specific to the various file formats that BCI2000 supports. These ...

Re: "CursorTask Modification"

Hi Sam, Chad is right, I was not at SfN, but have been very busy during the last weeks. It's not clear to me what exactly you want to achieve. Do you actually want to display the feedback cursor, but ask the subject to suppress imagery until some time else, and then play the "Go" command? Or do you ...
