I am not sure I understand what you meant by your last sentence but I know I was able to compile with the lcc libs, the problem being that the program was then crashing on the matOpen function call. Thanks Jeremy, perfect answer, I felt that I would have to use cmake at some point. So everything is working either using the Makefile and mingw32 or using codeblocks and mingw32.
