Re: Scale changes after reading .dat using EEGLAB Import

Thank you Peter.
That's very well explained.
Just one more question related to the filter, the source filter is applied to EEG in sample-block basis, is that right?

Thanks,
Ran

Re: Scale changes after reading .dat using EEGLAB Import

Hi Chad and Peter, Thank you for the informative replies. That totally solved my problem regarding the first question. Really appreciate it. For the second question, I have the same question as Chad. I am using EGI's GES300 amplifier to stream EEG data to BCI2000. I have configured the "SourceFilter...

Re: Scale changes after reading .dat using EEGLAB Import

Hi Boulay,

I used the one from BCI2000 distribution, by copying it into EEGLAB plugins folder.

Scale changes after reading .dat using EEGLAB Import

Hi All, I observed an interesting phenomenon, that when using EEGLABImport to import .dat from into Matlab, the data is rescaled, usually much larger than what you can observe with BCI2000 viewer. I did some testing and found that the scale difference is exactly 1/SourceChannelGain. I wonder if EEGI...

Hi,Juergen,

Thank you for the info.
I will give it a try.

Re: AmpServerPro cannot stream EMG signals to BCI2000

Hi, Gerv, Thank you for the reply. You are right, the EMG signals are acquired from a seperate analog port of the EGI amplifier. This should be relatively easy to do, but will require C++ programming. I'd like to give it a try. I really appreciate it if you could recommand some documents regarding t...

AmpServerPro cannot stream EMG signals to BCI2000

Hi all, I am using Net Amp 300 from EGI to acquire EEG signals. In the meantime, I want to record EMG signals from 5 pairs of bipolar sensors connected to the amplifier. with AmpServerPro, EEG signals can be recorded from the 128-channel sensor net. However, the EMG signals aren't there. Could anyon...

Re: cursortask sequence

Hi, guys,
I notice that in the new released version of BCI2000, a sequence parameter for cursor task is added.
Thank you very much for the awesome work!

Re: cursortask sequence

Thanks, Adam.
But my question is after the normalizer, how the signal is converted into the cursor movement.
Sorry for the confusing.

Re: cursortask sequence

Hi, Adam, Thank you for the reply. I agree with you that using SignalGenerater is better choice for testing purpose. I got one more question about the cursor task application. The control signal after Normalizer is multiplied by a Scale Factor, which turns control signal into the cursor position on ...

Re: cursortask sequence

Hi Adam, Thank you for the reply. I guess I didnot fully understand the purpose of Fileplayback module. What I want to do is trying to use this module to stream data from Calibration session, and use it to control the Cursor task application. By saying "time sync issue", I refer to Note that the Fil...

cursortask sequence

Hi, guys, I am trying to use the fileplayback source module to test different configurations. I know there is a time sync issue. So during the calibration session, I fixed the time and sequence of the stimulus. Is there a way to fix the sequence of the target appears in the cursor task application a...

Re: location file conversion

Hi, Juergen, Thank you for the reply. That really helps. So I used the readlocs and writelocs function and generated a loc file from sfp file. After that, I tried to load it to the Eloc_helper, it constantly gave me an error about invalid eloc file. I played around and found out that, the radius col...
