Re: give event to a state

Dear Imenefeki Either the event does not end up in the buffer, or it is not being picked up by the FieldTripBuffer Are you able to confirm that the event arrives properly in the FieldTrip buffer connected to BCI2000, e.g. by doing in another MATLAB instance ft_read_event? Could you use fieldtrip/rea...

Re: Getting FieldTrip Buffer Working

I have been able to reproduce the problem on 32 bit WinXP. It appears that the buffer server (i.e. the TCP server that deals with the requests from within and from outside of BCI2000) does not work properly. That is something I tested after "set config" but before "start", by using sine2ft and buffe...

Re: Getting FieldTrip Buffer Working

I will download the latest binary release version, as you have been using. What operating system do you have. and which MATLAB version? Are you running on 32 or 64 bit?

Re: Getting FieldTrip Buffer Working

Which BCI2000 version are you precisely using? Using the same version I might be able to replicate it and pin it down. Hmm, I now realize that old binary compiled versions are not that easily available from http://www.bci2000.org/BCI2000/Download.html. Can you send me the binaries that you are using...

Re: Getting FieldTrip Buffer Working

Hi, Here are some suggestions: Have you started the BCI2000 processing (i.e. press the play button)? I suggest that you check that the buffer is properly created by BCI2000 and that it can be connected to from MATLAB. In MATLAB you can do hdr = read_header('buffer://localhost:1972') repeatedly and y...

Re: Fieldtrip and reception of events

Dear dlesenfants With BCI2000 and the stimulus presentation app running, you should be able to do something like this in MATLAB while (true) event = ft_read_event('buffer://localhost:1972'); disp(event(end)) end and constantly see the latest event. With this use, it will most likely skip displaying ...

Hi Richard, States in BCI2000 are represented as a bit-pattern at every sample, i.e. the state vector (containing the value of multiple states) is sampled just like the data. In FieldTrip events are represents as changes in the value of (usuallY) a trigger channel. I.e. if you think of a continuousl...

Dear Marco The signal processing module (i.e. the exe) consists of a pipeline of multiple "filters". The fieldtripbuffer can be one of them, just like the matlab filter, the AR filter and what have you. A difference between most filters and the FTbuffer is that the fieldtripbuffer will not block the...

Hi Juergen, Thanks for your suggestion, but still no luck. I have tried it now from a different location (university instead of home) with different firewall settings, but no change. Using https://... as you suggest also did not solve it. Note that the password that I am trying is the one supplied (...

problem with SVN access from command line

Hi, I am trying to get access to the BCI2000 source code using svn/subversion from the command line. The reason behind it is that I want to read the code locally on my Apple OSX computer. In due time the software will be compiled and executed on a windows machine. As TortoiseSVN is not available for...
